As the title states: How to kill yourself while welding
  2. Plus you could close all the hatches and drive off. "Accident? I didn't hear a thing"
  3. Fire alarm went off. Didn't know if it was real or accident. Turned out to be accident, which was fortunate as I was in the sauna at the time.
  4. Welding? Remove other nuts and drive around private car park?
  5. Possibly but I am not going to do a forensic investigation. Fan assembly for the condenser. The circle of shit is where the dead fan has been for years. It was remove bumper, 6 x 8mm & 2 x 50 torx. Then remove 4 x 8mm. Then find another 2. Then find two more that you can't get to without removing the headlights. Remove headlights. Then remove intake for more access and shear bolt holding it. Remove 4 more bolts and then remove fan assembly. Marvel at how rusty the whole thing was and how much water it held.
  6. Hopefully the instructions are along the lines of "Have your mechanic check......" "Your chauffeur should have....before you set off....."
  7. I envision it being packed inside and with people standing on the running boards at the next chippy run.
  8. Altrincham also reworked the bus "station" / train interchange when railway was the end of the line IIRC. I now think this is the north end, which got the roads changed around to ease the A56 Chester Road to A560 towards Wythenshawe
  9. Safely back home here. Thanks to everyone, especially Jim, for a good but soggy Shitefest. Good to catch up with people and meet some new faces. (I think Wales should just post "Uneven Road Surface"* signs at the border. * occasional exceptions)
  10. Includes an explanation https://www.bridgwater-electronics.co.uk/automotive-products/japanese-imports/radio-band-expanders I was thinking it worked the other way round for some reason, but it takes the incoming signal and takes off a preset 12/16/18MHz to feed into the head unit.
  11. Used to be able to get frequency shifters which would "add" ~10MHz to the available range thereby making them more useful in the UK and EU (USA does silly things with their radio frequencies and may work there too)
  12. Anyone got any stuck nuts or bolts? May need some expensive sockets and a large air tank. Ideal for removing ship's propellers, girder bridges, and the like. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134612154859
  13. I'll be there but not camping, I managed to find a place in Llanberis, so just breakfast please.
  14. Put me down for camping both nights and breakfast, not 100% positive I can get there but want to book in.
  15. Spotted the Royale Cavcraft posted but I found this too: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/225585769466

  19. Plod or related organisation may have funding to give out the locks, like some "victims of crime" charity. Hence one lot responds with a lock and the other can't get round to see you.
