You mentioned you didn't like pushing it in/out of the garage;  when I had a car with a starting handle and a narrow garage I took the sparking plugs out, put in in first or reverse and wound the car in and out, easy and controllable - not sure if it will work with the preselector

I can collect and store and then have a good reason for a 2nd FoD.  pm with me sellers details and get on the (suit)case(s)

Thanks to Chris and Mrs 6C for hosting the event and thanks to shiters for the good company.  Would do again.
Blue and white cycle helmet was by the mopeds.  I saw the Cats speed past, they went N up M40 as I went S.

    HI Chris
is there space for another one? If so would you pm directions to the FoD please.   I have leave of absence approved and the weather looks quite good from Friday on
I'll be up in the camper van so that has a cooker available for use.  I'm deemed old and vulnerable so will be sensible but not paranaoid about being in company.
I'll put in a selection of tools and my brand new Ring 900 100psi tyre pump;  it's fast and got a van tyre from 35psi to 80 pretty quickly, but with a 23amp draw I wouldn't use it without the engine running.
Has any one a use for a crv 15" wheel with a reasonable but old Dueller tyre?

I’m sure no ones noticed I’ve been quiet here lately, but there is a reason.

Some 20 days after the 2cv arrived...

The baby arrived!! It’s a girl!! Thankfully not delivered by WorldofCeri (no offence I’m not sure of his midwifery skillz) but @Mrsbrownnova did an amazing job of expelling the womb raider. Mother and baby doing well.
Sadly she was not transported from home in the 2CV, indeed She’s yet to have her first ride in either 2CV, but it’ll only be a matter of days.
    Best Father’s Day present ever!

BoA tip; This was at about 50 years ago, so probably a desirable housing development now. I was in my early 20s and was asking for an acquaintance whose father turned out to have a large Alvis of that age. I had the complete Profile set of booklets so I knew what a 4.3 Alvis was. Garage is now the Texaco

I have been told that there is a car buried at the far end of my garden: it being an rural ex council house I don't think it will be a 4.3 litre Alvis like the one the garage told me they had had buried in Bradford on Avon tip just a week previous,  I had seen the car so I know it's existence wasn't a myth

I was banned from going to Leominster auctions for my 2nd dream car a 1935/36 Rover 12hp tourer;  was going to see the heart Surgeon following day for final signing up to the op so arguably Mrs K did have a good point; and then a second one came up at the same auctioneers when I was only fit to take it slow around the house, bugger bugger bugger
