Ladies and gents, forget the age old classic "spears reapers" ... We have a new phrase!
"ULEZ complaint"

You can’t have it both ways… it’s either rare OR unique….

Rare indeed! Â This is the only photo I could find which shows the matching features.

Spotted today in Bali. Lots of 70s Japanese cars and vans about, but it's left hand drive so maybe something European?

Brisbane was a fun place, even if we did have to go through a massive industrial estate before getting to the city from the cruise terminal!Â
Bull bars on cars are much more common here, and not just to make your 1993 Tarago (yes, it's not a Previa!) more rugged apparently. Drivers here have a real problem with kangaroos darting out in front of vehicles at night. I know someone that had £1,500 of damage caused by one.
Late 90s Camrys are really popular too. Wagons like this Conquest are a little harder to come by mind.Â
Here's a high performance Falcon XR6. Whilst the fast Commodores used V6s, these Falcons have in-line sixes which are apparently really reliable.
As for something a little more useful, this 1997 Commodore Wagon was pretty neat. Note how some of the plates have burgundy text and others are dark green. Well, buyers here can choose the style of their plates. I've seen white text on a pink background on some!
Another one of those Pulsars, this time with the classier 'slatty' chrome grille!
And a wonderfully shite Hyundai Accent Coupe.Â

So I thought I might as well do a thread for the holiday I'm on and what I've done seen!
I'm currently on a cruise in Oz which started in Sydney and ends up in Hong Kong. It's my first time in this part of the world, and I'm pleased to see so much shite about.
As said, the first stop was Sydney where we had a couple of days to explore things like the Opera House and Bondi Beach.Â
My first photographed find (I saw a few things on the taxi to the hotel when it was still dark) was this 1988 Corolla 4WD Wagon. It's seemingly a Tercel with a new front end.
It was close to a really nice poverty spec 1994 BMW 316i. But neither of these are really Australian are they?
Ah that's better, a Holden Commodore Ute! 90s Commodores and Falcons in all shapes and sizes are still pretty common it seems.
And here's an 80s one, taken through a vent looking into an underground car park at night (ideal conditions!). I'm digging the vinyl roof on a car made between 1981 and 1984. Surely that was a bit of a dated detail by then?
And just to prove I didn't just look at cars the whole time, here's Sydney at night. Strewth etc.

LS V8 Vs Barra turbo - surprisingly little in it and both can take a lot of tuning...

#2 child expressed an interest so naturally jumped on it. They wanted to play about with the camera and the chance to get a bit of one to one time with a teen child is not to be missed. Have been a few times before as its on my doorstep. Nice rockerbilly vibe with added spookyness. Mod ped gang was strong too.Â
Just my phone pics here. Will chuck up the child's ones if when they sort them out.Â

The modern Citybug
This applies to motorists who pilot a Peugeot 108 or new shape Citroen C1.Â
It will be found roaming multi storey car parks revved up to about 4k riding the clutch, with the owner completely oblivious due to the rev counter which they confuse with the petrol gauge
Just in case you can't hear them coming, you can smell the burnt clutch.Â
They have their own speed limit on slip roads which is 35mph. They cannot legally join a dual carriageway or motorway at a speed exceeding this.Â
When found on a motorway, they have trained themselves to keep in the safest lane which is the middle lane, alongside a HGV, doing no more than 50mph. A HGV protects you from a crash you know! So sitting in their blind spot is the best place to be! Well out of their way!Â
You'll find them sign written as mobile carer vehicles, make sure not to confuse them with the earlier Peugeot 107, Citroen C1 or heaven forbid the Toyota Aygo which are strictly reserved for usage by staff* at the local money laundering derelict petrol station hand car wash establishment only.Â
Just in case you happen to need a parking space in a supermarket car park, if you see one of these you might as well not bother looking and come back another time because it will usually be parked across no less than 4 spaces.Â
If you happen to catch a whiff of the interior, it will smell of a tart's handbag. I've heard they also run on poundshop perfume!
The driver will be an odd character, the only car knowledge they have is that it costs £20 to tax per year and they only have to spend £30 on petrol every fourteenth Tuesday of the year. In terms of their overall persona, imagine a tat magnet designed for B&M or The Range instead of Halfords, then walk into their home and wonder why a load of shit has clung to you.Â

I've been to Silverstone Festival, but why share all of the Citroen SMs, Triumph Stags and Lotus Cortinas I've seen when we could look at all this car park fodder...
Least AutoShitey thing, a Ford Galaxy - probably seats the same amount as the European Galaxy.
Nice little boggo AX Debut on white steelies
Amicable
And the fourth emergency service, which had the block of a six cylinder engine in the back - maybe a makeshift owl nest?
