I'm a bit late to the party but this is screaming faulty ignition switch to me, apologies if this has been ruled out already in the looong thread, had a similar wild goose chase with a calibra that wouldn't crank and it ended up being a £3.50 part that solved it

Fucking KFC drive-throughs. Anyone else find that they FUCKING NEVER supply you with any sort of implement with which to consume your freshly nuked molten beans, or any serviettes or mildly moist lemony wipe things to clean up the inevitable car interior desecration that follows? And you FUCKING NEVER remember to check until you’ve left, and are midway through consumption of your nutritious meal. Fuck sake.
Okay, you may only be parked 50 feet away in the car park and you could just go in and pick some up, but you’ve PAID for someone to place a lovingly made, carefully constructed poultry based burger into your lap, why should you have to WALK and fetch your own cleaning products like some sort of peasant?! It’s an absolute disgrace, I tell you.
Fun fact, do a drive through at Mcd's , email them the receipt code if it's shit/wrong and they'll send you a code for the exact order again gratis

Not so much grumpy, as sad.
Our little Robin Mikey has gone missing. Been two weeks now. She came several times a day every day for over a year. & often wouldn't eat her dried mealworms or suet unless we fed her by hand & often would just sit with us outside & warble not wanting food.
We miss our gentle little friend.
Bloody daft a 53 year old bloke being sad over not seeing a Robin, but I am.
I got quite attached to a blackbird couple during the lockdown periods, named them Tobias and Eloise , still see similar birds eating seedballs but no idea if they are the same ones

Many years before knowing him through this place I bought a Merc 190 off @Keymaster and sometime later found a 5 cell maglite in the bootwell , he'd never spotted it

I genuinely think I'm developing some form of Tourette's lately
I sat an exam this week and, after making the examiner aware I'd finished, she escorted me from the room , she asked me quietly how it had gone.....I could have said "good", "not bad" but instead found it entirely appropriate to say " I've not been that nervous since my last prostate exam" She didn't appear to be shocked but why the hell are things like this just coming out of my mouth without any filter.
Is it an age thing ?? I'm baffled !

Can't argue with that! Is it getting restored for road, race or restomod?
I made a detour up to @New POD this morning, a thoroughly nice chap in a picturesque part of the world. I acquired from him, at a bargain price, another set of rims for the still-slumbering Omega track slaaaaag. With this set I've now got something to mount wet race tyres to, completing the trifecta of road biased, dry semi slick and full wet to cater for all track conditions and driver preferences 😁
You probably passed my house and could have collected another set of 16" Mig wheels

I think I've seen pictures of that floating about a few years ago / looks in better nic now to be honest so doubt it's abandoned

That sounds outrageous. Could be some sort of scam, there have been lots of scams involving funeral services. Funeral Scams
There is a complaints procedure Complaints about pre-paid funeral plans (Financial Ombudsman Service)
I know of two locally. One of my daughters works at a funeral directors and tells me of these things.
There's a petition going on at change.org currently about just this. Be wary of doing any more than sign their petitions as they are a for-profit American organis(z)ation and not all contributions go to the intended recipients.
Thanks but this is the local councils charge

Currently dealing with the the aftermath of my FIL's sad passing on Sunday.
How the fuck can it cost £867 to dig a hole in an already purchased plot and how the fuck can a cemetery only manage to do one burial per day !

I px'ed a Focus last September at The Carshop in Warrington last October so was surprised to receive a DVLA letter about it being untaxed on a road in Leicester in August, they are a huge sales organisation so fuck knows how it's still registered to me
I assume a lengthy call to DVLA on Monday will sort it

Wife is watching the Brits, what an absolutely soulless heap of horseshit with the most cringe making presenting I've ever seen
It used to be pretty decent back in the 90's IIRC
