  1. The nearside rear tyre on my Volvo turns 34 next month and is still going strong.
  2. I've seen a few like that, the AI engine gets properly confused if you list something in the wrong category.
  3. I seem to recall that @Skizzer has or had a Dedra.
  4. Badly advertised Mk8. @Schaefft Might be a useful source of bits? Not particularly cheap mind.
  5. Aye, it's the same chap with all the DAFs and Reliants for sale.
  6. Bugger me sideways, a J9! I used to love these when I were a lad - they seemed like the French answer to the Dodge Spacevan.
  7. This bush in the front garden apparently decided yesterday that it was spring and therefore time to burst into flower. It may have regretted that decision this morning. Went to see a mate on Friday night and he gave me a present. A 3D jigsaw puzzle in the shape of an essentially complete but broken (snapped crank - TADTS apparently) Vespa GT125. I really didn't need another two-wheeled project, but it was free so I couldn't really say no! I've not done anything with it yet though, I've not even got it out of the back of the Zafira yet. I did have a bit of a tinker with the Lexmoto today (one of the other two-wheeled projects) and got the headlight working - not got the tail light working yet as I ran out of daylight but that should just be a question of finding the correct wire from the back of the bike and joining it up. The 75 is in for its MOT tomorrow morning so I gave it a quick look over - couldn't see any obvious fails but was a little surprised at how bad the front tyres have got - one is at around 2.5mm and the other still has loads of tread but is starting to crack. So I'm going to have to fork out for another pair of tyres for it fairly soon - it had a great pair of nearly new tyres on the front but they both got nommed when the springs snapped. Handbrake is still shite but it always has been and always seems to pass so fingers crossed it will again. I even gave it a quick hoover out as it was pretty grim inside.
  8. LOL. @tooSavvy Your next car?
  9. Hydragas definitely rides better in my experience, although later TFs apparently had retuned springs which helped a bit.
  10. Is he a radio DJ with a penchant for loud shirts?
  11. Just discovered a rather nifty feature on the stereo in the Getz. If I have it in sat nav mode and drive through an average speed camera zone, next to the little GPS speed readout is another readout showing my average speed since I entered the zone. Quite impressive for a 40 quid eBay special I thought...
  12. Possibly a daft question, but what's so special about it that it was worth going nearly to France for? I could understand coming to the arse end of Norfolk for the V70 'cos they're a bit rare, but surely there are modern diesel Golfs in Scotland?
  13. This is probably utterly fucked, but it's still most of a Fiat 500 for 600 quid - must be worth that as spares surely. @motorpunk?
  14. Automatic K11 with full MOT but shagged paint for £680 BIN.
  15. Bloody hell, have you had that three years already?
  16. Of which 6 are "Morris".
  17. That'd be quite the collection mission for the lucky* roffle winner mind.
  18. Later Reliants will buzz along at 80 if you're brave enough.
  19. I haven't seen any for sale for a while. The petrol Ambra holds the distinction of clocking the third slowest 0-60 time of all the vehicles I've owned, at 55.5 seconds. (The diesel one was flat out at 45 so that doesn't count.)
  20. They sold them here in RHD form for a while in the early 2000s. I had two Ambras back in the day, one diesel and one petrol.
