    Just back from the same sort of road trip with da fam. Shooting guns and rifles; riding around in the back of a pick-up; Bluegrass concert in a replica Western town; eating at Waffle Houses; Cracker Barrels; Chick Fil-As; Raising Canes etc. Also golf at Pinehurst and did the Washington DC sights and colonial Virginia. My hire car Camry* (*or similar) turned to be a cool grey Jeep Wrangler! Have some images of a car show in Williamsburg and some other US car stuff:

    Hey, I'm doing that there too next week. Except I'm not. Guess there must be more than one Fayetteville. I'm road-tripping by the North Carolina Fayetteville and up to Washington DC. Got my rural Americana activities all lined up: Pinehurst - Patriotic Pets Parade. Aberdeen - Sardine Festival. Raleigh - Hip Hop Rodeo. Oxford - Hot Sauce Festival & Pepper Eating Contest. Winston-Salem - Truck & Tractor Pull. Are you supposed to have an international driving licence then? Oops. I've never had one and I used to live there. Doing it in a Camry (*or similar)
