Fix it! Are you sure it needs a clutch? Pretty sure my parents had a similar diagnosis, they took it to another specialist who apparently just did the gearbox oil and filters, reset something and all was well for the next 40,000 miles

I don’t think there would be a tap on an injected model. As above- kill switch/ listen for fuel pump priming. Does it have an immobiliser/ have you got the right key?

Travelling at 28mph in London would attract some serious road rage. You have to go at least 45mph if you don’t want an angry Audi up your bum.

I think that’s the same spec as the one I ran temporarily: probably should have stuck with it, but just couldn’t muster the enthusiasm at the time. REGRET

It’s always a joy to see this getting lavished with care . Did you sound deaden the doors whilst you were there? It made a big difference to the sound of the speakers in my T25. Also, since you’ve got loads of space under the seat, they’d sound even better with a sub and a high pass filter!

As above, ditch those reversing lights & mirrors! I dig the bumperless/ no hubcap look but would be curious to see it with a slightly less chrome grill, maybe like so: Might be too much of a mish mash of eras for you though.

The sensible choice of the nice Maxi scooter came and went: It was ace, comfy, rapid, very very nice condition, beautifully looked after. It crunched my commuting miles with complete ease. What went wrong? Dunno m8, just didn't do it for me. I'll probably regret this, but in it's place came this way less sensible choice: Yes, a 1994 BMW F650 "Funduro". Hot ain't it. Look at that 90's square headlight. Something so pure and simple about this set up. Love it. Chunky ain't it? Definitely the wrong tires for the motorway, agreed. So yeah, right now I love it. I had a supremely fun collection caper involving 150 miles of back roads and green lanes. It's a single cylinder so refined it ain't, and it sort of labours under 3000 or so revs, but keep it in it's happy zone and the way it delivers a thump of torque is completely addictive. So much so that the clutch slips. Oh well... What else is wrong with it? The steering lock doesn't work. It needs an oil all-round service. Clutch slippage as mentioned. It doesn't do ULEZ so I'm going to have to put it through a test and hope it passes. It's tiring on the motorway. All in all, it's the wrong choice for all sorts of reasons. Whatevs

Me, looking at anything. Looks gr8 m9! It must feel ace being out and about in it. Question: do you miss the building it part? Sometimes with a big project I’m glad it’s over, sometimes I kinda miss it.

What’s the chances that isn’t jetted yet? You see so many £1000’s pumped into 2 stroke builds only for them never to run properly.
