  1. This is the reply from the seller: "I am in France till Thursday on holiday. I am more then happy to add you to the list to see it / buy it but unfortunately I have had over 100 messages before you. The list is rather long. Sorry" So it sounds as if it might be genuine and someone could be getting a bargain.
  2. I've sent the seller a message but suspect the price is missing at least one digit/it's sold/it's a scam. In the unlikely event that none of the above are true I have plenty of outside storage FOC should one of you succumb to temptation!
  3. This looks a great way to spend £1295. They can even deliver... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/5305818786138789
  4. For anyone interested: https://www.copart.co.uk/lot/52110862/clean-title-2012-peugeot-107-sporti-whitburn there's a reserve on it which seems a bit optimistic!

  6. You can pay cash into almost all bank accounts at any Post Office so no need to travel miles to your nearest bank branch.
  7. Wobtastic! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125417553649
  8. £360pa tax compensated for by 5 cylinder soundtrack and blue interior! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325266169546
  9. True, I shouldn't be moaning, this place has a lower moron rate than most places! Onwards and upwards; I'll stick an ad for it up shortly. Their loss could be someone else's gain*.
  10. I'm no expert but Wiki says Sept 04. Which means the one you mention must be one of the last pre-facelift. Actually looks good value.
  11. I have a pre-facelift estate on my ebay watch list (I really don't like the look of the facelift). Expect it will go for (a lot) more than I would want to pay though.
  12. Not stupid but annoying, particularly as it's on here!
  13. One owner ZX turboD estate... https://www.gumtree.com/p/citroen/citroen-zx-estate-1995-manual-1905-cc-5-doors/1436657333
  14. Because although most people may be ignorant about geography some people aren't, and it takes no more effort to put the actual area/town rather than London (or Fife). As with inconsistant above, albeit the opposite way round, I can get to North London quite quickly/easily but South London is a pain.
  15. I think it's dusty/not dusty rather than pogweasling.
  16. Heads off to look for recently ended ads for Volvos in Cambridge!
  17. Given the current bid on that, one of us should have hung onto HY08TGO two years ago. Although it's also possible probable the one we had wasn't as good! Are you going to bid on the Arena?
  18. Agreed. Although based on the humble (and slightly naff) O-series petrol and somewhat agricultural, they were ahead of most contempories with direct injection. Whilst the XUD is undeniably more refined, it struggles to match the Prima for performance and lags some way behind on economy. I may be biased, I have a Prima in my Maestro van!
  19. I know nothing about the values of these, but £550 with MOT to January sounds reasonable to me, even with an ABS light on... https://www.gumtree.com/p/bmw/bmw-3-series-saloon-1999-other-1895-cc-4-doors/1434836169
  20. I may go on Sunday. Couple of things I'm half interested in, but worried I'll do the same as last time and come home with something completely different!
  21. Pride has a full MOT as of this morning. In case anyone interested has missed it there is a for sale/roffle thread here: https://autoshite.com/topic/49573-1993-kia-pride-13lx-now-with-full-mot-£750-or-£14-two-for-£25-west-norfolk-18-tickets-remaining The Focus estate has already proven itself a very capable all-rounder (including swallowing a complete ado16 exhaust), so with the 1800 and Allegro available, hopefully soon to be joined by the 1300 (hence the aforementioned exhaust) I'm struggling to justify keeping the C1 as a toy. I've re-instated the for sale thread linked below, but at the moment it's not advertised elsewhere: https://autoshite.com/topic/48735-2007-citroen-c1-vibe-mot-nov-£950-west-norfolk And finally, having charged the battery last night, this morning I awakened the Cinquecento for the first time since parking it up two months ago. The V5 arrived a couple of weeks ago and it's booked in for MOT next week. Assuming no disasters and if the C1 sells I will get a bit of use out of it next month. Just need to find a way of stopping my foot catching the accelerator pedal almost every time I brake!
  22. Pride didn't pass its MOT this morning but didn't disgrace itself either. Needs a new handbrake cable (which I discovered on Wednesday but couldn't get a replacement in time) and a tiny patch of welding on the front floor which I'd missed. If you fancy sitting in this interior... ... I will be starting a slow-burn roffle this evening which can run for a couple of weeks whilst I sort the MOT items (I'm hoping the handbrake cable will arrive before next week's bank holidays then retest the following week).
  23. Probably the cheapest electric van available. Probably still overpriced at £700... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/5296217817107044
