Morning all
I recently bought this to be my new daily driver a zt 190 plus in monogram IAV twilight, 55 thousand miles 2 owners last owner had it since 2006 still has the mg rover direct number plates they were only selling as it wasn't ulez compliant. its not a show car it has some lacquer peel on the spoiler and some marks on the bumpers but its perfect to be my daily driver.
Only 12 ZT in Twilight produced! Only 1 of them was a 190+!! So a bit of a one off. But technically its 1 of 12 but not sure which number of 12.

Bit of a long shot, but would anyone like a non-MoT'd V8 75? The sills probably need a tickle and the rear subframe is a risk. I've done all the other expensive bits to it. Runs fine, has LPG.
They seem to go for 7-8k in decent MoT'd condition, mine isn't decent or MoT'd so I'm open to offers for less then half that. Just need it shifted tbh, I've got too many cars.
Hi Sam I have a mate who is interested in details of V8. I'll send you a message if ok. Cheers Tam.

Really!? Surely must have been an ABS pickup fault though I'd have thought hence a sensation through the pedal if ABS was malfunctioning 🤔
Cant possibly imagine a defective wheel bearing brining up a fault, more like the pickup ring being damaged which is integrated with the bearing in some cases
I stand to be corrected, but just never seen that before!
Yeah. I didn't write that very well! I was convinced the grinding noise was coming from front drivers side brakes but T4 showed ABS fault on rear. The easiest fix was to replace the whole rear bearing as you say containing the ABS gubbins. The old bearing fell apart once out.
Fitted this.

I've had an ever slight judder with the 75 on braking recently, and it having sat still for a few weeks I took it for a quick spin this evening and the judder is more pronounced and on heavy braking I get a quite audible grinding sensation/sound. I've had a quick look and there is plenty of life in the front pads and the front discs look fine. The rear brakes were entirely rebuilt about 18 months ago. Any idea what might be causing it?
With the hole in the sill and an MOT in June it may not be long for this world ...
I had those symptoms from a rear wheel bearing needing replaced. Wouldn't have believed but computer (T4) said so. I was also getting dash warnings aswell though.

I thought you were referring to the Saint's Rover at first!
I see what you did there! 😁 Uncle Ian would be chuffed.

Been trying to catch this one for a while given the Shite implications!
On first spotting I was think it was a Puss Cat reference being a Jag or maybe mad cat woman. Then I noticed the POO followed by SKAT. Can't be certain but there is a company that hires out portable toilets for shows in the general area I spot the car so could be related 😆😉

Still blowing here at 3am. Been some mad gusts. Loads of people close by have been without electric since 8pm and no chance of getting it back on before 12 tomorrow. Just about every road around here has fallen trees and branches.
Horrendous but we've gotten away with it so far. Mainly minor damage to Garden stuff. O2 network has been down for hours, presumably mast damage!
Plenty firewood tomorrow though.
