    i would imagine who he bought from didn't "own" the plate and simply did all the complicated* paperwork for a smoll* fee

    try using the a/c on fully hot when you get a chance as that helps dry out any dampmess in the system

    DO NOT USE JUBILEE CLIPS ON A DIESEL FUEL SYSTEM! they do not clamp "round" so can/will let air in- go look up "dr diesel" problem pages from diesel car mag fron the '90s

    no to motor oil in the filter you need proper filter oil frousty air con may be down to lack of use & bio-hazard filter

    if it's not too late may i suggest 2 BL/austin rover colours to look at cashmere gold- almost B&H colour (1984ish) shantung gold- slightly less gold than cashmere which it replaced

    early sierrors used flat tinacorner type keys then they swapped (with much hoohar) to tibbe embarrasingly a "thief" broke into the later lock faster than the old one the chubb keys were granada 3
