Can anyone explain how as there are no outer sills at all.....

I'm not concerned in the slightest to be honest, it's one of the staff at work, my questions have been more of the 'I saw you working on your car, what's up with it?' and 'my car needs mot'ing soon, where did you get yours done?' if he puts any bricks through any windows he will be homeless and jobless, he's not English and maybe cars like his are acceptable back home.

If all our roads were on causeways and bridges, and we all drove Ford Pintos, that logic would be unbeatable. As it is, I'm assuming that every time you see a perceived hazard up ahead, you floor the throttle to ensure the impact is hard enough to throw you clear, after all you wouldn't want to headbutt the dash at 40mph and end up a dribbling vegetable. I'm sure if you speak to the local lass who was a (belt-wearing) passenger in a high-speed car/tree interface a few years ago, and opened her eyes to see the lifeless remains of her (freedom-loving) friend's face staring back at her from the top of the blood-smeared bonnet, she'd totally agree* with you.
 
Apologies to michael1703, that sounded a bit angry and wasn't directed solely at you - it just irritates me when people use trite excuses for their actions. If someone just said "I don't wear a belt in a modern cos I'm a bit of a selfish c**t" it'd be better. It's similar to people who use the fact that cycle helmets won't save your life if you're run over as good 'reason' for never wearing one.

Having been in a pretty big accident and walked away relatively unscathed, not wearing a seatbelt when provided with one is retarded.
 
Least of all because the airbags will make a real mess of you if you aren't strapped in!

I think that was the first one I ever went on. Damn glad you lot rode slow too, I had enough trouble keeping up at that pace! But then I'd rather fall back than fall off.
 
My bike won't be back on the road till march at the earliest, depends how quick I get all the stuff done it needs doing. Not even ordered the chain n sprockets yet, got the front half to rebuild first. I'm even cleaning it as I go, I think it deserves it.
