With some cars, colour is everything. Much prettier even without the proper roof. https://www.gumtree.com/1469881553

Spam - more bargain BMWs listed for Lampeter than there are in the whole place! (Probably, I have been there).

All of the old Mercedes action here has got me looking at them f.f.s! This cassette-era S-Class has more class than any blue-tooth and privacy-glass era barge. Good colour Cloth OM6063 Reversing targets! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276193208950. This seller always has interesting stuff, but often changes his eBay id. Why would you do that?

No. It is a 3 door base-model hatchback, an Audi 80 with a different rear axle. And a leaking radiator, just like they all had 40 years ago. AI generated or not, it is still drivel!

I also spend hours virtual-cruising around the backstreets at the edge of motoring. Senegal. Renaults everywhere And a few Benzes.

Daily DeLorean project (now with Jeep Wrangler "spared no expense")

I really like those Jeep steel wheels. Jeep aluminium wheels really do look a bit rubbish! If it was mine I would bin the centre caps and get a set of (winter) van-rated tyres fitted. Less is more. -
When my kids were at primary school there was a (yummy) mummy who drove a BRG Peugeot 205. 1.9. Automatic.* Hnng. In every sense! ** 205 Gentry?

Those plastic boxes are an urban blight. Please park the Citroen so as to obscure them.

Benzin' (I want to get off Mr Benz Wild Ride)

Point of order: not contacts, the rotor arm does not touch the electrode in the distributor cap, just needs to be close enough for the spark to jump. -
At least those shit rear lights are less shit than the original shit rear lights. Still shit however.

That is the ultimate panel van. Ideally it would have a 2 litre V4* rather than a pinto but let us all thank the Transit gods that it doesn’t have that fucking hateful DI Diesel that ruined most of the mk3s. *Yes I know that the mk3 never was made with a V4.

Anyway, what about buying this 70 year old hero and doing some actual haulage, importing veg oil from Romania perhaps? Obviously it needs a bit of “de-twatting” first but for the price of a 2017 Astra… https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/6325152304220723

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/126220266021 Try one for yourself, seems to have been a good investment and to have lasted well. Would be a good friend for Cedric! -

But when one of those Transits was driven past you it was cripplingly, shatteringly noisey, even worse than the Maestro’s Prima engine. -
I’ve never read the bit about Rover engined demo cars for the US before but the talk for years was that a V8 was just around the corner. It did happen, but only for the Esprit, 10 years or so after the last Elite. There have been several Rover V8 converted Elite / Excels. The competently done conversions do look like the engine belongs in there, seems to take up less room than the Lotus engine.

Last time I saw a Peugeot 604 Diesel was outside the Barnes and Noble bookstore in Modesto California. It was absolutely immaculate in that really classy metallic green.
