I just had a look in my online bank to find that HSBC have today given me £550 PPI compensation for a £4000 loan I took out 17 years ago (which, needless to say I wasted on shite)

The fact it is something different too. In London I park alongside a load of BMW's, Porsches, Audis, etc. All the aspirational things we are supposed to aspire to.
The only cars I ever took notice of were an Orange Capri, a tired looking Mark 3 Golf and a Lancia Thema.

Does the passenger seat flip down? I don't think any small vans are capable of 2m loads without losing a passenger seat.

3 degrees this morning, had the leaf pre-heat to 18 on the timer before I unplugged it. Then drove the 23 miles averaging 4.8 miles/KWh. I used ECO mode only in the stop-start traffic down Blaydon bank.
That's with lights on but no heating, Loake Wolf boots and wool lined leather gloves more than enough. Arrived at work with 78% battery remaining.
It's possible an early Insight, or an NA MX5 with the B3 engine from a Kia Pride might be more entertaining, but neither will take the rest of the family out to the beach after dinner..
