  1. This stuff is expensive as all fuck however I’ve never known paint to cover like it. It’s extraordinary. https://coatpaints.com/
  2. I had that code reader too, I think it’s just a feature* of it that it brings up a brake error when you interrogate the parking brake module. Any issue with the parking brake will be related to the NS parking brake motor which is a really cheap nasty pattern part which didn’t fit very well.
  3. No worries, thanks for looking. I’ve smashed the ever living fuck out of the lock now anyway 👌
  4. Indespension hitch locks are actually quite secure if you don’t have the keys No prizes for guessing how I know this.
  5. There isn’t any random little keys in the boot of this is there?
  6. Sorry your £10 car isn’t more exciting @gadgetgricey, must try harder
  7. Nope. Thats in bits at the moment - trying to sort all of its stupid little issues like the noisy starter, air pump etc.
  8. @RetroShite can rebuild it, he has the technology
  9. Yeah there's a lot of it about. Scum gon' scum I suppose
  10. Was just thinking about Cannock the other day. Would be well up for a similar shite auction meet if an alternative could be identified
  11. Decided I’m never going to get around to fixing the Astra so it’s on eBay. Attracting more interest than I expected tbh https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/156108780004?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=UtJpyBAgQKy&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=UtJpyBAgQKy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

There’s a “generate AI description” button when you list stuff on eBay.
  13. No warning lights? Best order this shortly then https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276310355244?epid=1073291268&hash=item4055616d2c:g:bgQAAOSwtbVllIwq&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4N%2FUmT6hDy%2FRN%2FHRJrWexTfO5AVuXF1PHIc8zmyaKrGDu4PFhaZX6jUJdG06utz48duu2%2FEq85DbXyBV%2B7o2rUNHHdWcCem6sO4zR%2FH8YguXL8UEVKTfbsx20bift3P21g4LaoNy2GVjfJ5UKc26gspUVZuNUSYQkY4dfG7KBDs8XmQEATxgPkzk6g72EWBL9pA8XPJTz7XolDeV5aM7wkxkme5HuCrCb18SldtUVdKLiFLTvgoc7SPSjbXSFjlha8qvkn3VF7LG6Pihx2YH%2Bg3Vq7LkAuh4rB2OKS2OF1yp|tkp%3ABFBMrJXQsLFj
  14. A few of the site foreman types for the various trades on this new build estate I live on drive Rangers and the like. They don’t need AWD for the work they’re doing, but the Maxarse probably isn’t blingy enough for them.
  15. The £20k support from Maxus has gone. Despite it saying “pre registered one only” in the caption I assume that one only has actually sold and this is now just a brand new one they’re advertising no idea what kind of crack they’re smoking if they think people are actually gonna buy one though.
  16. Yeah you’re right it was the NSF that was cracked I think the wheels are just getting a bit tired and porous tbh. Regular pressure checks seems to keep them where they need to be. Cant say I ever had deflation quite to half the recommended even from the cracked rim.
  17. Some of the original fittings were knackered so it's a bit of a lash up with universal hose.
  18. Yeah, if the pipework isn't connected to the headlight washers it drains down to a certain level (where the sensor is for the level) and then stops - I guess the outlet for the headlight washers sits higher, but I can't remember.
  19. The hose will have popped off one or both of the headlight washers - you can get to them by taking the fog grilles off. Probably the NS. When it comes off, it'll spew out enough washer liquid to put the light on and then the headlight washers stop working (and the leak stops), screen wash still works until the tank is empty. The washer system is a bit of a lash up, I'd recommend adding a jubilee clip or two.
  20. WTAF is that and why do I want it?
  21. It had a single facelift outer light for a while 😂 the originals were completely knackered through water ingress. Was always on the lookout for inners to match but as you say, they’re not cheap. I got lucky with the outers, they were reduced for some unknown reason at ECP
  22. If the parking brake warning light is for the NS motor, it is probably fucked again. I fitted a very cheap pattern part, badly.
