Pretty slow this year for me.
    Out
I had this 7 series for 18 months and loved it. It was better than I hoped and while I did have to spend a few quid on it, it never actually broke down.
Final straw for changing it was the AC shitting the bed on the hottest day of the year on holiday and we had to drive home hanging out the window like ace ventura.

Granada Out. Can't remember if this was late 2021 or early 2022. This was a really, really nice car. 2.8 (2.9 really) with 5 speed manual. Never really gelled with it though.

BMW 320si will hopefully see the road early 2023. They brought 500 of these to the UK and there's about 150 left on the road because of their highly explosive engine.
Bought with a duff timing chain and now running but needs a few things for the MOT. I'm reluctant to invest lots of money incase it explodes.

I needed less car related drama in my life that was being provided by the 7 series so I got this photo copier salesman of the year 2019 spec Megane estate.
Highish miles at 85k but very clean, nice spec and does 50+mpg all day

    Remaining
The 200,000 miles Megane R26. I've had this for nearly 3 years now and would like to spend some money on it next  year.
I love the colour, I love how it drives, I love how quick it is. It's a trooper

A pretty quiet year for me, after last year's fleet cull and house move just trying to concentrate on financial stuff and put myself in a position where I don't need to work full-time for too many more years.

LS400 was only in use for only a couple of months and has since been on SORN. Now at garage getting some welding done and attention to rear brakes, then I want to start going through a few improvements - I'll probably never have the chance to pick up a Mk1 for a decent price so I should work with what I've got.
Regrettably the days of picking up random extra cars for £not much seem to have gone, but I don't seem to be able to capitalise on the increased prices - witness the Sunny I sold last year doubling its price when sold at an ACA sale in Janauary, then doubling again at a Mathewsons auction in March.
RX is more mine now that it was, as I bought it outright at the end of the PCP.  At just under £10k with less than 60k on the clock and just one former owner I'd have been stupid to hand it back. Will keep it for a good few years yet, it's a fine and very capable daily driver.

The Laurel continues to do its thing, it's likely the mileage will roll over 100k next year. Why would I ever sell it?
That's it for my fleet. Within the family Mrs SL's Auris continues to be An Car but may get changed in a year or two, the Yaris passed onto Master SL and Miss SL became half-owner of the ex @BorniteIdentity Avensis SR. And her BF bought himself a mk2 MR2 - there seems to be a theme here.....
The Avensis returned home from uni last night and is sitting outside the front door as I type. I'm hoping to use it over Christmas, for now that's as close as I'll get to an addition.

I echo your general thoughts on the Aldi. Finally managed a trip home to Scotland. One of my pals very generously lent me his A6 S Line TDi auto. Nice old barge for knocking about in for 5 weeks but it didn’t really get under my skin.
Happy to get back into my Saxo VTS when I got back to NZ

Alas, no. Only stylish trying-to-be-a-turbo-but-not-really-a-turbo spiderwebs that are almost impossible to get bolts for. I discovered this because in the days before I owned a torque wrench I lost one.
This is what it looks like when it's not hiding behind a garage. From this distance you can see that the other cars are the same, but not that they're all in much better condition.

    Evening all.
Another serial lurker here. I created this account at the end of last year with all sorts of ideas about doing a collection thread on a vehicle I had just purchased unseen from eBay that was 200 miles from my house. Sadly, by the time my registration came through the collection was complete and I was too busy shitting myself about having bought a lemon to do any posting. It turned out the vehicle in question was not a fruit, citrus or otherwise, and many miles of happy motoring have occurred since I got over the usual 'what the fuck have I done now?' post-purchase anxiety. I really ought to be used to that by now...
Anyway, I don't think I have enough vehicles to qualify for full fleet status, but if my somewhat shaky knowledge of naval terminology is correct I may just be able to scrape a squadron. This is a slightly teasing picture of the current state of the squadron.

Front and centre we have a 1994 Range Rover Classic, having just enjoyed its first wash in two years. To the left a 1984 Porsche 924, currently slightly unloved and increasingly grumpy about it. To the right my latest purchase, a 1993 VW LT35, which I have convinced myself and my wife I'll be able to get running properly and converted into a camper van by next summer. Finally, and barely visible behind the RR, a 1995 Volvo 940 estate, which was what I purchased when I registered and is of course the reason for my user name. I look forward to telling you all about these and the other bad decisions I've made in my short but I think reasonably glorious motoring career.

Thanks for taking the effort to start a thread for this - I was one of the guilty parties asking for this!

You have done a great job resurrecting in it in such a short period of time! Crystal Blue really is a lovely colour - I haven’t owned a Capri in that colour…. yet.
Hoping to get my 3.0S out of storage before the end of this year

Right. First stint done (test day). This is honestly the most terrifying thing I’ve ever done. Zero track etiquette, 115 cars, huge difference in vehicles and a lot of very mental people. Track is fast and tricky. Recommended.
    First race session tomorrow.
