XSi became a van (with a roll-cage) last night 🤣 5x complete wheel assemblies, 5x loose rims, a complete engine…. along with a few other bits and bobs (lamp pod)! Old girl earns her keep!!

Different slant!!! After a Christmas doo a few years ago, a small group of us ended up in the local gay joint as it was the only place that stayed open late… so we all got drinks and got seated on tall bar stools along a back wall. The joint was an old Belfast industrial type premises with huge steel / iron pillar type supports from floor to ceiling- spread along the centre line of the open floor… Now….. seated on a leather sofa directly in front of our group were two incredibly attractive ladies - who were “making out”! Now we were collectively trying our best not to notice….. one girl (who had a buzz cut like GI Jane) got to her feet and proceeded to do a sexy dance for the other, before doing a pole dance with one of the pillars…. This was long before “Miley” and her tongue thing…. GI Jane licked the ceiling support before touching her toes and grind (hump) on the support…. I shit you not….. I fell off my bar stool!!! Totally ruining their moment! 🤣 Got nothing whatsoever to do with taxiing! Just thought I’d share!!

haven’t really done anything more with this one. Had to change the Weber side draught as it was messing around something chronic. Running much better now. Cage is being painted then it’s getting installed. Slow progress at this time.

I hear you… although at £13,000 to re manufacture a 2CV…. Before installing the £17,000 EV equipment is - making a new car.

Have you shitters seen these?! £30k for a remanufactured plug in ev Citroen 2CV!! Or alternatively pay £17k to have your own CV converted!! slap me and wake me up from this nightmare! Marketing as brand new cars, but they’re registered ‘88 and ‘89 respectively. Have full type approval etc… but £30k?! I do like the concept….. but not at that cost. Also being marketed as a classic car for limited use. Standard range in summer = 65 miles, cut that in half for winter use (quoting the manufacturer). thoughts?

I fukked up soo bad! Something like 10 - 12 years ago. Fella I knocked about with offered me this exact Clio Williams…. £1500 quid.. figure this! I turned my nose up at it because it didn’t feel quick enough (150hp) and the clutch was a bit ropey…. Proper proper Williams. It was in really good shape too….. had a light rear end tap but well enough repaired.. Went for a 172 instead! This is from a man that’s beside himself these days with 100hp sambas and 106! What a twat I was!! It was sold on and it’s been in storage for years. Would I want a Williams now? Hell yeah!

You do know @Shite Ronthat if they were over here in Norn Iron they’d be rehoused to faker’s house! But shipping costs from the mainland make these rather uneconomical for me…

Plod over in Norn Iron definitely had a specialist vehicle unit where special vehicle testing and trials were done. An Astra Sri turbo was sourced and sent to Courtney Sport for the full package. Upgraded suspension and brakes, turbo, intercooler, pipework and mapping. It was a one off order and was specifically for traffic branch. Once it was retired from service it was sold with the entire Courtney Sport documented folder detailing all the modifications. This is the actual car… It was unmarked and virtually nothing gave it away. It had blue strobe lights and sirens obviously! Norn iron plod used to have this Focus RS too. I’m led to believe it was tweaked also. now it’s a fleet of M135 beemers with over 300 bhp as standard!!! Focus RS.. Focus ST and a Golf R

Chod spotting in the south of France has been very poor so far…. One Opel Corsa A (nova), one Citroen xsara, one mk1 Clio and one 2CV6 under a tarpaulin…. Where did it all go wrong?! This place used to be full of older chod… and not that terribly long ago!

So I’m for Lyon in the morning… hire car booked… then off to Lans En Vercors.. so I’m going to be hunting for old French chod! Guess who’s packed some PTS clothing?! 😬

The truly sad thing is…. Renner was using his own snowplough to open roads where he lives. He went to the assistance of an ordinary Joe who was stranded… and got run over by his own snowplough!

So it’s literally the first week of January…. and European countries are experiencing a heatwave…. There’s no snow on the resorts… with ski runs closing…. you couldn’t make this shit up! Will have to make enquiries to confirm that the event isn’t going to be re-scheduled… no point arriving at the French Alps for there to be no racing or skiing!
