I had the misfortune of spotting one of these in my rear view mirror whilst driving through Bratislava.

I nearly had to pull over and be sick, it's absolutely gopping in the metal.

I swear the one I saw had W211 headlights though. It looked so awful that my first thought was that somebody out of their mind on home distilled Slivovica had somehow managed to mount a Lancia grille onto a W211 by cutting and patching the surrounding panels. I'm not sure if it's more or less disturbing to know that it was potentially a production car.

Was it perhaps a Lybra that you saw?

    Almost as ugly:

  2. Festival of the exceptional moaners again, same every year, not enough of this, to much of that, not so much on here but definitely on other platforms.

Personally absolutely loved it again this year, there’s so much to see that I found it very easy to just walk past the stuff that I didn’t want to look at or that ‘shouldn’t of been there’. I didn’t have much of a problem with the que but did get there relatively early, think it took about 20/30 mins to get in.

    Tatra V8!

  3. Unsure which one to come in, the Subaru is definitely unexceptional but maybe a bit modern, though they are quite rare now?

Mercs obviously not unexceptional especially being a 6 cylinder, but is old enough at least.

@Sam Glover might have one :)

last I spoke with stuart about these back in 2021 he thinks there are at least 2 over here, not sure if thats including Sam's one or not

but as I said at the time  slidey doors made of fibreglass and CVT powered, sounds very familiar :)

or to miss-quote top-gear "its not a Model 70 its the Model 70's Swedish Cousin"

There’s one local to me in Tyne & Wear.

Spotted today in Durham (driving so no pic)  CU 6 on a green  Mercedes 220 . A quick internet  search shows that its a 1976 model ! Last saw this near Durham Riverside cricket ground about 5 years ago driven by an old gentleman. Made my day to see that both him and the car are still about.

He has something like 7 classic cars and is a regular at all the local shows, has had the plate since the 60s/70s from what I recall.
