We set about it with toffee hammers, and (brace yourself) Also, there's a coolant leak from water pump area. Plus some niggles as you might expect with 30 year old shite. It's more than they want to take on, it needs a proper weldathon, not just patches. "Never been welded" but suddenly needs LOTS. So I A-framed the Mazda back home to Malhamdale BD23. I can help with collection / delivery as best I can if it means the PW might live on. Anyone fancy it for scrap money? Talking of which, spotted on the way home... And home. FFS Yorkshire, not Oz. *awaits onslaught*

I've just looked back, it'll be 9 years next month since the first collection mission I did with it, so yeah, I've had it that long. Every other car I've ever had I've run for only a year or two. That attests to the PW's usefulness, nothing else is as versatile.

You're doing an amazing job with this project young sir. After doing so well with everything on the passenger side, I don't know how you mentally deal with turning the car around and setting about the whole job again, just a mirror image. If it were me, it would screw with my head too much and I'd struggle big-time with motivation. Though the winter. On a driveway. In North Yorkshire. Truly admirable. Keep going!
