Seems like the 200 series are now anywhere between 400 and 4k, which is a surefire indicator where the trip is heading.
Get one now, because they are on their way out of shite territory at a rapid rate.

I am old enough to drive irritatingly slowly whilst wearing a cardigan therefore I am thinking Volvo. A strong dislike of estates and leather limits the choice somewhat. £4k though?
