Thanks Dan. It really does look the dogs. The paint lad has been anal with the proper paint codes, even making sure the trim and plastics are the correct shades of grey. The side graphics are perfect reproductions and you really can tell close up, they came with a kit to ensure that they were placed mm perfect onto the car where they should be. If you ever up around Sheffield/Chesterfield give me a shout, you are more than welcome to come and have a look š

As they say on homes under the hammer, It's been nearly five years, lets go back and see what he has done: So its had a full, back to metal respray which has cost Ā£Ā£Ā£. The williams has a fantastic cult following and members of the WilliamsClio forum on facebook have been helping with remanufactured bits and good secondhand parts. The wheels have been refurbished, all the brakes gone through and sorted, a new exhaust system has been done front to back, reproducton number plates with supplying dealer have been made, the list goes on... Next up is it is off for an MOT in the week, and is booked in with a specialist later in the month for a Cambelt and water pump and few other little niggles to be sorted. Like I have always said, this will be a keeper and will get used as Williams intended. All being well, its first big trip will be the NC500 either at the back end of this summer or in spring next year.

Saw this the other day at the Barlborough junction (30) of the M1 and wondered what it was. Turns out there is a story to it all be it not very exciting. https://www.roads.org.uk/blog/unexpected-survivor I like these little curios of the UK road network.

Agree the changes are a positive move and have voted accordingly. I donāt see an issue with a flea market section though, would save trawling through the for sale / wanted thread and unpopular and sold stuff would naturally drop off the front page as we go. Just my two penneth.

What does everybody for for insurance?
Alfamale replied to TheClutchBasketPodcast's topic in AutoShite
Classic policies are cheap for me so donāt bother with trader policy. Current insurance is costing me: Daily 2012 BMW X3 - Ā£350 Delta HF4WD - Ā£90 (limited to 3k per year) Mk4 Escort Estate -Ā£90 per year (limited to 3k per year) 1986 Alfa Spider -Ā£110 per year (limited to 3k per year) Had a quote on a trader policy at Ā£1100 so didnāt make sense for me. Cheaper to pay admin fees or walk away from a policy when I sell. Plus what Saabnut says about sale of goods act etc... -

Was a bone fide auction. Proper notices up from the borough of Rutland etc and the auctioneers name clearly printed on the plinth. Was a bit of padding definitely from hacks, Lewis Kingston and Sam Skelton were in the crowd plus a couple of others that looked familiar. The auction was publicised on social media but I think a fair few didn't show up on the day. I had the mother of all hangovers and look terrible where the camera has caught me. I was stood next to the bloke that bought the Escort Mexico estate.

I went to the auction so basically watching it to see myself on telly. Wish Iād have bought the cortina.

Agree about the Brabazon, quite liked the Derby and PGA courses though. Highlight of the brabazon was a mate taking 18 on the 18th after putting 5 balls in the water in front of the green.

I can recommend Tony at Classic Fuel Systems in Bradford if you are looking to invest in a carb rebuild. Done a couple for me and they come back set up and ready to go. -
Love these Mazzers. Good luck with your project, Look forward to reading your adventures with this. This is one I was offered in Oria, Italy last year. That was a 4.24 same as yours, in quite a state and owner wanted ā¬8k for it.

Was the blue one a slightly tatty, almost rat-look affair. If so it belongs to a youngish lad which is even more of a grin in my book.
