OK so the drive back went pretty well, having topped up the fuel when leaving Scarborough, we soon discovered how shite the wipers were, as this occurred as we made it to Musham Bank. It was fairly sunny before and after, hence the shades. The exhaust on it is pretty fucked, blowing and rattling as it does, there is also a shagged droplink on the rear, and it'll want some new tyres fairly soon.

Home safely via the chippy in Scarborough, full road test report later as we have it. The V70 we hastily dumped when chasing this morning was collected, on the way home, unscathed.

She's a thirsty beast so a quick drink for her and a visit to the chippy for us before we turn tail and head back to the People's Republic of Lincolnshire.

You're not wrong, but she has enjoyed a trip on the train. Collection has been achieved - it's a cheap old bus but there is plenty of work to be done so , it needed to be really.

Last change, air is getting a little thin up here! Any guesses as to our destination, or our stred for the return leg?

We are on service 2 of 3, speeding through the countryside on a rather busy Azuma. Not much of not is happening save for an occasional stink eye from the gent we displaced with our reserved seats.

On the way we spotted this rather sorry looking truck, just short of Collingham station. The station house at Collingham is a grade 2 listed building built in 1848, featuring Gault brick, Welsh slate roofs and currently, Merseyside windows. A shame to see it in such a dilapidated state.

Ready for departure, itll be a Class 170 heading west. (From Australia apparently ) Little Miss RG is rather excited to be on a train...

Breakfast rectified, quite tasty but I think we paid more for the nice decor than the quality of the food. Five quid for one over done sausage and a fried egg in a bap - hmmmmm. Oh yes, today's collection is a team effort which is just as well as we have dumped a car in Horncastle after a brief bus chase...

An hour down and we've achieved our first stop...

This bus is so shit even the windows are crying.

We had a 1.4 at the garage that spat a bit of it's Sparkplugs electrode and sounded like an angry metal wasp in a bean tin. Having dumped it in a corner for months and forgot it, the next time we fired it up, it had somehow ejected said electrode and after considerable inspection with the borescope, was passed fit for use.

Caught up to the bus. Now the fucking thing gets stuck behind a crop sprayer. PC - 01 with a hint of post match farts.

The go case is packed, the PC is one, and true to @barefoot form, as we had only a coffee for breakfast, we've had to chase the bus for 10 miles as it came by early.
