Probably not much help but I've got a Transit with a tow bar... I'd do it for the price of the diesel if you could borrow/ hire a trailer...

Will bare that in mind; thanks Gary.It would certainly be better than a 1.4 Honda auto. :-)Anyone got a trailer I could hire?

Lived in/around Norwich most of its life judging by the plate. Must’ve been a very different place then, I suspect I would have seen some of its sister cars in Medler’s yard in the ‘90s.I’ll work out postage on that manual for you at some point soon, I haven’t forgotten honest…

Yep, I think so. Think it was brought second-hand by the husband of the last recorded keeper on the V5. Original green Registration Book shows two previous keepers first in Buxton the second in Norwich itself.

No problem: thanks.

Thats gorgeous. I think I may purchase an ADO16 in the near future. I've been having a look for a while. There is a lovely one on eBay in Ripley. But with no Tax or MOT, and with no access to a trailer available do I put a bid in and drive it back with my fingers crossed?Decisions decisions, either that or there is one also on eBay in Lincolnshire being sold my an UTTER MENTALIST who appears to be Raymanboy's cousin.

Not worth the risk, unless it is MOTable, then as long as you get it insured you can legally drive it to an MOT station.Other than that Bowater & Son - 07956 272315 or Classic Collections & Recovery - 07713 769720 both offer an excellent recovery service.

It looks lovely, there's one in Greenwich i know of too Keef

A Riley or a more common Austin or Morris?Funnily enough my Wolseley is less common than the Riley according to 2005 (the last available) figures from DVLA.
