Volksy
I'm just looking into buying another car, something old and interesting, as i'm currently getting bottyraped with my current car.I've been given a quote by Footman James, for this car, Full comp, inc UK and European breakdown cover, 3rd party on any other vehicle, unlimited Mileage etc etc for £99.00 for the year.given i'm paying over £600 for my present Saab, i think this is a pretty good deal. Has anyone had any experience of this company, claims etc..?ANy help or recomendations are more than welcome!
mouseflakes
One thing to be careful with when moving to a classic policy is that many don't include an NCB. If you have accumulated any on your current policy then this will expire after a number of months (i think it's 24 - someone else may know - keep your proof of no claims from the old policy for this reason). So, if you think you might return to a normal policy in the future (change of car or whatever) then, if your old NCB has expired, you'll have none to transfer from the classic policy. With the price difference you mention it's probably not a problem, but worth remembering.
