Beetle will make about £300 on eBay I reckon. "Project" ones are not worth huge coin unless they are early models really as the costs of restoring one can be immense, especially as some of the more bum-raping of 'specialists'.LHD saab might make some quids to ex-pats and homeward-bound Poles, but probably not much more than it would make on the frag run, sadly.

How strange is that - in the boot of a modern (to me! ) Saab?Funny enough, I 'lost' one of these in Ireland - do you think it could be the same one? Wuvvum needs a bit of good news on the R6 front at the moment.

not strange to me saab belonged to my former business partner who is now totally BL fixated (owns VDP 3 litre estate amongst others)many moons ago he had a mk 1 R6 and moving stuff about he threw all old renault bits in boot of saab for me :D have got a lot of new early 6 bits inc panels thought mr B had let Wuvvum know already ?

The 1302S should also have disc brakes which makes it a good start (or stop  ) for a car. Photos of the floorpans, heater channels (sills) and under the back seat is pretty much all you need.If it's unmessed with, it'll sell. If it's got a dodgy interior, botched electrics and a ton of underseal it'll be like most of the others

That Beetle looks lovely, even with the greenery and rust staining. I was eyeing up a local blue beetle (later model) recently, but I wasn't ready to buy it at the time, and it teased me for months then disappeared. Dont crush this one!
