outlaw118
Round my way theres a Rover 25 BRM with silver trim - you know, lower grille thats normally orange - and the side rubbing strips are silver too.Does anyone know if this is a dealer special, or official model, or just someone who didn't want a car that looks like it's been involved in a bout of fisticuffs?! scrappylad
Its an official model - 795 made to celebrate the original BRM racers of yore. The Rover BRM was based on the 218 VVC & their looks are pretty ace imo. They have a quilted red leather interior & bits of aluminium trim in the interior too. They are available at bargain basement prices & I'd wager that they'll start to go up in value as time goes by... They're pretty damn quick too - at least when they were new anyway.
r.welfare
Sounds like the removal of orange bits and substitution with silver is down to a previous owner whose eyes were being assaulted...Round here, the new trend is to take an early bubble 200 and graft on the front end from an MG ZR.
