Guest greenvanman
That CA Debonair is great, I'd prefer a slightly less rabid colour scheme myself though. for the Cresta.

Ratdat
Who on earth scraps a three window Cresta?! Aren't they mega rare?
Mr_Bo11ox
good job I dont live in one of those flats across the river from your scrapyard, i'd have a CCTV trained on it and check it every 10 mins to make sure no treasures had been krushed. pogweasel
Yup, Cresta's are rocking horse shit. Doesn't save them from the crusher though. I expect that someone had that in their garage for years, tried to flog it but just got £50 offers from scrap vultures and cardigan wearing buffoons who base their buying strategy on 1976 prices. Probably alot of stuff like that being fed into crushers at the moment, purely because the practical classics price guide 'condition 3' value is £10 less than the weigh-on. 55bloke
I have to admit, I'd never have believed any PA Cresta would be scrapped, let alone a pretty solid looking 3-window one!! Does no one in the owner's club (I'm sure there must be one) know about it? They'll be weighing in Mk 1 Lotus Cortinas, and Mk 1 Escort Mexicos next! bigstraight6
That early 3 window Cresta does make a tragic sight, amazed it didn't get saved given its rarity, even if the underside was rotten she would have yielded some useful spares, the price of scrap eh
