xkjaguar
sorry not a classic as only 17 years old bought for NZ$2400 (about £960) the previous owner had bought it (NZ$6000)and said it wasn't handling and was not nice to drive, looked back in paperwork and found the trackrod ends had been done not long before he bought it took to tyre place and had tracking done (NZ$59) front left 12mm out, front right 12.2mm out rear left 4.1mm out rear right 5mm out so tracking off by 24.2mm at the front and 9.1mm at rear handles like on rails now bargain!!!!! http://picasaweb.google.com/xkjaguar/Ne ... 9539040770
bigstraight6
Great fun those! I acquired one for 'er indoors about 4 years ago which also had handling issues due to kippered rear struts but once I changed them it had go-cart like cornering abilities How is life in NZ Mr xkjaguar? mk2_craig
Seems you can't even GIVE a mk2 Escy away down under, that'd be a grand easy over here.
HillmanImp
I am probably getting a mk 2 MR2 in the next couple of weeks once i have managed to nobble my crapmobile enough so that the dealer cannot spot it is proper knacked at first glance. What do i need to look for on one of these? I think they have problems with the gaskets as a mate had one a few years ago and it went proper wrong.Any advice appreciated.
