retrogeezer
Some small time car dealer living there, the 3 cars around that green Merc DIY camper have got for sale signs in the windows.
MrRegieRitmo
The camper is very inventive Those Skodas are on ajcherry's spotted thread I think. Passed them a few times on trips to / from Brighton.Retrogeezer, those cars for sale have probably been put there by different people as it'll be one of those highly prominent car selling hotspots by the main road! pompei
F**k me, that caravan conversion would even shame the local pikeys. Great spot!
nigel bickle
I've seen that a couple of times on that roundabout nr Shoreham -tis as god-awful as it looks. Interesting idea though- seeing as I have a surplus of pickups...Puegeot 403 caravan anyone?
Richard
I don't think many caravan sites would let it in.
Torsten2001
Even I would baulk at popping off on holiday in it, bloody awful looking thing...they should do the decent thing and put a flat bed on it

Guest greenvanman
I'm almost certain I've seen that Merc in a garden in Crossgates (near Leeds) a couple of years ago. When I returned with a camera, because no-one I told about it would believe me, the owner had very wisely covered it with a tarp. I say I'm almost certain, there couldn't be two of them like that, surely?
Dead_E23
Here's a slightly better executed specimen seen at the Enfield Pageant of Motoring in 2002:

Timewaster
Does anyone else think that would look much better if the caravan were mounted backwards with the flat part against the cab and tapered at the back? Maybe one for the photo shop experts?
Dead_E23
Does anyone else think that would look much better if the caravan were mounted backwards with the flat part against the cab and tapered at the back?I was thinking that after looking at the one I posted. Trouble is, I'm not sure that the wheelarches would be in the right place. Even now it looks like one of them doesn't line up properly - either the caravan is asymmetrical or the conversion was done whilst under the influence of Kestrel Super. mk2_craig
I guess if you're worried about aesthetics you wouldn't be bolting an old caravan to a life expired luton truck chassis.
