Hmmm.I've often wondered what these things were like to drive and how the steering felt. I think you'd need to accelerate or brake in a straight line only. The front suspension and the steering geometry, bushes, etc, are all trying to work at the wrong angles.This V8 one looks like the sort of Revell scale models I used to mix and match parts with, probably around the same time.
