sporty-shite
Well, just back from our Jollies, and caught a couple of site-style honeys along the way. So here goes..... Lovely DS in Pont-Aven Saw this little beige beauty for sale on a forecourt in Bannalec HOW MUCH? I'll give it a miss, merci. Went out for an afternoon mooch with Miss Sporty, and found this on our travels. Looks like a former Citroen dealer, that has now become a specialist in old Citroen shite. Didn't want to mooch around too much as Baby S was asleep in the car... Mahari Triple DS loveliness... View towards the back... Hang on, what's that under the old jet wash canopy? And this was right at the front. A true shite-hauler. Tasty little 6 in Benodet. Baja near the beach If Autoshite did car sales pitches... This one was all grass, and had a goat roaming it on one of the days I passed! Mk2 Fez was tres tidy, but at 920EMUS seemed a tad expensive. One for Cavette! Finally, the Sporty family hack, in an arty-style Pasta-modern-shite-shot. Seems I've also got the strange idea into my head that I need an early Twingo in my life! I may be sensing an irresponsible, financially burdening and marital argument inducing road trip coming on. Oh well.....
brammy777
Great photos, that 6 is stunning. The CX 'Lowloader' is truly ridiculous, they must be a prime candidate for 'donor car for most unneccesarily OTT custom' ever.
mouseflakes
That Citroen garage is amazing! CX shite-hauler would do me just fine (probably wouldn't go down too well with the neighbours though).

sporty-shite
I like the fact that you went to France in a car with France on the numberplate (sort of).Well, seeing as my surname's France, it's quite fitting However, the Gendarme who pulled me for speeding on the way home didn't seem to "get it" at first, and had a proper good check over my licence and V5 before escorting me to the cash machine. I wasn't going to say anything to him, though, as the handgun strapped to his belt made me slightly nervous.
trigger
I'm just as impressed with the France number plate as i am with the spots, which are epic by the way!.
dollywobbler
Le oof!! It's amazing where really nice Citroens crop up in France - like that Chapron DS drophead. I can't remember where we were on the BXagon now, but we drove through one town and I just happened to glance into a warehouse and spotted an SM. In the same town, we then saw another in the service department of the local Citroen dealer! Not sure I'd take an SM to a main dealer in this country... Dolly, I know what you mean. I saw a few tasty pieces sat in small garages, and on dealer forecourts. Unfortunately, Mrs S's patience was starting to wear a bit thin, so I didn't stop to snap. The garage is Garage Bouguennec in Scaer. Lovely area, and well worth visiting.
brammy777
I wonder what happened to that CX 'flatbed' that Andy Saunders built years ago, apparently it was sold abroad to a collector. It was actually executed really well.
