Also please speak now of any modification requests you would like to see. We've got a good idea what we're gonna so, but are interested to hear your thoughts. We've done this in the past, but would like some up to date opinions.

If you want a wee donation to the cause just say, I'd quite like to see a dedicated gallery of the varied examples of shite. Don't suppose it matters but I'd especially diggit if it was divided into 'continent' as I still reckon the sense of 'place' where shite of any sort did live contributes a lot to the whole hog (for me self anyways..) Not too fussed about a for sale section myself. I think it's more entertaining when shiters surprise each other with what they bought out of the bloo

Personally I think if a "For Sale" subforum is opened, you'll just end up with a huge number of folk signing up just to buy and sell stuff, which (and this is only my opinion) isn't what this forum is about, really.

Leave it pretty much as it is. Everything is pretty much perfect so don't go spoiling what you already have, if the spammers can be made to vanish then it would be even better!

Happy to assist if required - I'm certainly on here enough!Incidentally regarding the spammer, I can understand the Viagra peddlers & the porn pushers but really what is the point of something that just posts the word 'Great' what do they get out of setting something up to do that, is it merely to take the piss?

Methinks the management need to revise their methods for approving registrations. Manually activated accounts is the way forward. If you haven't got time to do it then give another forum user the access to do it. You can also modify phpBB so that new users aren't even visible until activated.

Scheduling this in for the coming weekend using a "CAPTCHA" system, with disguised digits and letters to stop spam and such. Have we any tips/advice for this?

Appreciated, EL (he said he picked that because a number of us have "dodgy-sounding usernames" !!) - if that's the case, let me know and I'll advise him to register again under the pseudonym of ColtLonsdale316 or something equally AS-centric.
