retrogeezer
I picked these up in 02/03 from a bike show - the translator needs shooting. ' The front and rear hubs are made of high-strength alloy, which extends the value sense of the motorcycle together with the delicate baked painting'

ChinaTom
Model sitting on bike is called Ashley Wang (Wang Yi). Used to be bar manager of Harbour Plaza Hotel in Kunming. Before that, she was Miss Chongqing 2002 - crown stripped when her old man was banged up for being a mob-boss. Have stories - cannot publish... ChinaTom
Ashley's old man got the blame for the bridge that collapsed in ChongQing that killed 52 coppers. Paid for his life (cost £200k) but all that bought him was solitary for the rest of his natural life. He had a decent collection of motors (now hidden in lock-ups around the province) including China's first Alpina B12 import. She got that job after she won the Miss ChongQing comp, and she appears on a few other brochures too.I haven't seen her for a few years now - we didn't exactly part on good terms - but I guess she's still a stunner. I hear that she is working in the restaurant of the ChongQing Harbour Plaza nowadays. How the mighty fall...
