Brand new shite

Recommended Posts

Been pretty busy this week with work in general but particularly a trip to Benelux. A nice perk of my work with Triumph Motorcycles however was some time at the Brussels Motor Show on press day. Some photos here possibly of interest as future shite!

But first the obligatory girl with sportscar glamour shot :lol:8)

Lada still have quite a presence in Europe and I was gobsmacked to see among the shiny exotica this Niva sill on sale

I quite like their current offering the 112 which has an air of late 80s "This is what cars will look like in 10 years time" about it!

OMG WTF is this thing?! Shocked

C Cactus concept!!!!!!!!!!! From a design student point of view it does have some very interesting design ideas especially the interior. The main idea behind it was to use less materials through out the whole car.more here: http://www.cardesignnews.com/site/home/ ... item87769/That said it does look bloody ugly  Nice to see the niva hasent recieved some sort of horrible facelift like the riva.

Great spots! I didn't realise that Lada still exported to 'Western' Europe, if you see what I mean. I can't believe they are still in business with cars like the 110!New C5 is disappointing, looks like a weird amalgam of the old model and the Hyundai Sonata to me with a bit of New Mondeo thrown in (esp. in the side-on view), and cues from the Audi A6 around the rear. Still, no doubt Cit UK will be banging them out for £9995 in no time...

Not directly but my company does all the showroom fit-outs globally for them and we do work for some of the other bike companies too so I do quite a bit of travelling to dealerships in Europe to do surveys. Unfortunately the Japanese pretty much look after themselves so I've not managed to blag a trip there yet :(

  • 2 weeks later...

Ewwwww - I will be Keeping the Blingo then a while longer. Isnt this some weird Fiat/Cit/Pug amalgam?

Yup. Fiat Fiorino, Peugeot Bipper and Citroen Nemo (Useless fact; Nemo is latin for 'No One' )Panda platform I believe, so smaller than Blingo, so you are OK :D
