brammy777
oh roadscenes!I decided to pick some from places i lived in the past.BexleyheathTaken at broadway in 78, i think this was pedestrianised when i moved there in 91'.The bus depot in 86, i probably saw all these cars whilst living there. If only id had foresight. and now slough.Nobody seems to have taken old pictures of slough.Probably because if you took the car and bus out of the picture above it could be anytime from the seventies onwards. But the somewhat notorious bus station is now going to be flattened.Summed up slough in one that did. CortinaDave
Seeing Father Ted's 60's car park reminds me, is the Get Carter car-park still standing? Various reports say it has been demolished, while others say it still stands and is about to be demolished. I'm unlikely to get to Gateshead to check. I'm sure there must be an Autoshitist who knows.A quick check around google and it looks like it is still there, or at least was in mid August when someone was ranting about it on a forum. From what I can see they've demolished most of the Trinity Centre nown but the car park still stands.Would have been a great location for Ashes to Ashes to film in before they knocked it down! chaseracer
Ended up spending far too much money on a 2004 Micra with one of them Renault 1.5 dci diesel engines. Lovely car apart from the thick black smoke that comes out the back when the revs are building up before the turbo cuts in... If it's a cracked injector seal, get rid sharpish. Such was the advice from our local Nissan bloke - a cheap fix it is not, apparently Domestic Management is now hooning about in a Panda 100HP

Mr Lobster
That blue light is about the same size as the ones on out ambies! makes the metro look even more ickle!I've just realised where that is (its about five miles from me!) Didn't realise we had Routemasters in Lancashire, certainly not into the 1980's! Roughly where the Strada is, there was a big Ford dealership (Seed Ford IIRC), remember Fatha_Lobsta looking at a Sierra / Escort in the early 1980's. Long since demolished now of course, replaced by a Kwik Save which is currently derelict.
