The Nash 'Airflyte' range from the late 40's early 50's are often refered to as ugly upturned bathtubs, I quite like the look of them and they have the added advantage of the seats doubling up as beds!

I love American cars from about 1938 to 1955 but I've never been keen on the Nashes :? Can't imagine the steering lock is fantastic either!

I'd love one of these '49 Mercurys though, however cliched it might be 8)

Daddy looks pretty happy with himself. Personally I'd be concerend about what the nutter with the big angle grinder (who's just cut out the b pillar of my car) is about to do to my family! :shock:

Looks like those old tinplate cars you used to get when you were a nipper!.I love old 50s Yanks like the tri-Chevys but that one is hideousAnd here was me thinking the Maxi was the 1st car that transformed into a divan !

I like the fact that the top half of the recumbent passenger is a pretty girl, and the bottom half belongs to a tramp
