andrew e
Just a quickie, went to upminster openday today - its the Undergound LUL depot at the end of the district line. Not cars but big heavy lumps of British engineering, allowed in the pits for a gander under the tube trains, a load of the heritage fleet free tea in the canteen (wife found the free vend machine!) and even my daughter was kept busy. Open Sunday and if you get to the Upminster station a selection Routemaster, RLH and other buses chug you to the depot where you can elect to pay to get in or, accidently by pass this and avoid giving a tenner a head.... Spunked £35 on 4 foot Kentish town enameled sign as a treat too! http://www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/n ... 12433.aspx Just watch out for the bobble hats... Mrs E gave a enthusiast an earfull for pushing my daughter out the way getting on the bus...

andrew e
Indeed a metalic blue Maxi was spied! The MG dealer at the end of the high street has a leftover chinkie MGTF sat in the showroom too!
