Guest
This is a very local show for me. I ended up doing two days because I realised at the end of Saturday there were some things I wanted, but I hadn't brought enough money with me. Yes, I could have got my hand stamped, but it was the end of the day and the seller didn't want to hang around, he had family to go and visit. Anyway, for a very expensive entry fee there was an excellent turn out, badly cooked food, a not entirely obnoxious compere and good weather on the Saturday. Sunday turned out to be vile but I wasn't arsed because I had the parts I needed. The autojumble has come on a bit since last time. When I last when round it resembled Rochdale market with a couple of scabby Porsches - i.e. lots of pointless tat. Rare as you like Opel GT. An NSJC member has one, he came to the Gathering from Ireland. Copper shite. http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04695aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04696aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04687aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04713aRS-1.jpg Mini was nice...... http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04714aRS-1.jpg ....because it had a sodding great MINI supercharger bolted on. http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04699aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04698aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04700aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04704aRS.jpg Rochdale Olympic! http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04706aRS.jpg Rochdale bike shite. http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04707aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04708aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04709aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04711aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04712aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04717aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04716aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04715aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04768aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04777aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04776aRS.jpg This is a regular at the Cheshire Lounge. It's turned up at the Crofton Arms NSJC meet more than once. It's a Turbo Technics twin turbo V6 with four wheel drive. At the moment it's running just under 300 brake, which I imagine is amusing for dealing with the suicidal fuckwits you get on the M62. http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04821aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04822aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04829aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04827aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04830aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04824aRS.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04826aRS.jpg Stuff leaving. http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04791aRS-1.jpg http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w130/jessopjessop/DSC04792aRS.jpg These were the fogs I went back for. At £9 they'll look great rewired on my Amazon and I can drive with them on like a wanker now, all the time. When I'm stopped I'll say, 'No, no no no, they're driving lights!' I also bought a 1:43 scale TR7 V8 rally car that varied between £3 - 15 depending on the stall. It was an IXO model and the box appeared to be worth more than the car itself. I bought the £5 one in the end because the foglights were straight.

seth
Are these all off the phone again? If so you really need to learn to get on with the SLR and make them even better! Simca estate looks tasty! Not a shorrock on that Mini engine. Looks like a MINI blower to me.

I was thinking about getting a DSLR when the Volvo has stopping bumming me for funds. What kind of blower is it on the Mini? Some kind of Lysholm? Guest
Eaton M45 charger? That's the one. I'm considering using one on the Amazon when I eventually supercharge it, as they're well cheap and hold quite a bit of boost. So the stupid BINIs do have a use, other than keeping estate agents buying Citroen DS' and crashing them because they have too much 'product' in their eyes. Will probably go for the V Performance kit in the end, as it's a complete set up that uses a Mikuni carb and .84 Lysholm blower, with a custom intercooler. Mr Lobster
Wouldn't have minded going to this seeing as it's reasonably local. The gods of work decided otherwise though Simca estate is a Tatton regular, saw it when I went last year. That Escort van is awesome, I'd be more than happy with that!Great pics, thanks!
