Check out these videos of Dublin traffic in 1985. Plenty of Jap shite on display here. Also its funny to see how many drivers block up the yellow box junctions :)

cripes you wouldn,t see that amount of fumes belching out of any vehicle like that coach does surprised its allowed on the road even then
old fords never die they end up on ebay

The smoking at the start is superb! Some incredible stuff there, Ritmo, Urvan, Hiace, early Carina II..... and is that a twotone Camry at the end?!A real treat!!

Tis a two tone beige Carina II :) That was quite a popular colour for the Carina here.

It's a bit blurry, but there's one or two orange P&T vans in the scene as well, I think. A neighbour has a beige Carina II hatchback.

Great stuff BD3, are those smokey old buses Gardner 6LX powered? :wink: Like the Ergomatic cabbed recovery lorry (Leyland Beaver I reckon)

:) The beige liveried buses are Leyland Atlantean PDR and AN68. These had Leyland 680 engines but due to unreliability most of them were fitted with DAF engines in the early/mid eighties. The "modern" looking buses in the green livery are Bombardier KDs which had V6 Detroit Diesel engines known for their high fuel consumption and noise! (I think in one of the videos a KD blasts by and you can really hear the noise)
