MrRegieRitmo
Wonder how much their contents insurance is?! That yellow transit is awesome, there's a Vanguards model based on it.The models (1/12th?) are superb! From that model cabinet I really want the orange & green Focus RS & ST models! Minichamps I believe...
Pillock
They're hardly concours though are they? Most look a bit grubby? (compared to that Renault store).Judging by the comments, they get driven though - lent out to the press and whatnot. I'd prefer that to never seeing daylight again. What's with the Transit Connect market up as "X-PRESS" or whatever? Seems to have meaty wheels, and is that the dashboard view with a boost guage? What's blanked out on the dashboard view?

FredTransit
Nice Love the cortinas and capris. That yellow mk1 transits nice too.The SWB is sadly abused by the press, chipped paint and oil leaks. Seen it close up at Gaydon.the Mk1 lotus cortina is stunning though, saw it when I took me granny to a Classic Ford mag shoot. It was driven there, and worth about 30 grand! brammy777
I bet the late generation cortinas dont get asked for alot, but the escort cossie has been in a fair few magazines due to the launch of the focus rs.This bits a bit off topic, but i read that a cortina MK V was sold in 2005? In derbyshire, and im wondering if anyone knows anything.....

brammy777
haha, what i wrote is rather unspecific, ill give you that.No i meant it was sold unregistered. As in it left the dealer in 2005.
CortinaDave
The cortina sold in 2005 was a 2.0 GL at TC Harrison's and was part of their private collection.. it was the last cortina delivered to them in 1982 so they decided to hang on to it and it was never registeredThey were thinning out their collection so put it up for sale for about £10kIt was bought by a bloke in Dundee and is still unregistered. He trailers it round some of the scottish shows.
Pillock
That Transit Connect X-Press, he says answering his own question, is a Connect body over a Focus RS drivetrain Apparently made out of two end-of-life test cars when the engineers were bored. Pillock
I never had the maths ability to do engineering. Not sure how maths helps you bolt crazy motors into things they were never designed for, but apparently it's a requirement.
