Hi all,
My Mrs has now passed her car test so no longer needs her scooter, and I already have two bikes so don't need it myself,as I know 50cc bikes can be popular on here,I thought I would pop an advert up.

Stats are:
2003 Honda SH50, one of the last made of the long running express line, proper 17" wheels, front disc brake, electric start, autolube. Fitted with Rickman top box with key.
From memory it has about 14k on it and mot until 22nd May.
It had a new rear tyre and tube 1000 miles ago. Front has tread but is getting old and a bit cracked so would want changing if you want yo use it all the time.
I fitted a new drive belt and rollers at 12000 miles. Also had new coil, plug, brake pads, air filter and auto choke module.
Various splits and cracks in the plastics as you would expect, mainly front mudguard and a small piece missing from the inner leg shield.Split in the seat cover.
Comes with handbooks, receipts and various paperwork. Being Honda it has been totally reliable during the two years she has had it. Will top out at about 32mph with me on it,good on fuel obviously.
Shiiters price of £400,located Pershore,Worcestershire.

I 'won' one of those on eBay whilst slightly inebriated.

The missus had a proper thrombo when she found out, despite my claims that I bought it for her to use for work. (even though she hasn't even done a CBT)

In the end I re-listed it and ended up £70 light for my troubles.

Though yours looks nice, sadly I won't be purchasing :-(

If my commute was shorter I would keep it,took it out for a ten mile blast this morning as it had been sat for a couple of weeks and had forgotten how much fun it is,it zips up to speed quite nicely,I've only ever run it on semi synth 2t as well which has helped keep things clean.Alas with an MZ and an Ariel I have no need for it myself.

Can I just say these really are a comfortable plod.

Reliable. Comfy, Economical and alright not very fast, but soo cheap to run.

Quite honestly if I needed a 50 for a daily run Id be on this.
