Tamworthbay
I also built a 2b! The build videos on vhs were awful!Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk The owner Richard was an unusual sort for sure, the videos were hilariously bad and he would frequently get to a tricky bit and say something like ‘when you get to this bit it will be obvious’ which really meant it’s hard so I couldn’t bothered to sort it properly. Mine was an early one with the awful sliding pillar from suspension made from the macpherson strut inserts from the donor Sierra.
Split_Pin
This was a bit of an oddball. Chevrolet Aveo. Bought new in 2012, chopped in when the finance was paid up. 100% Corsa D underneath, 1.2 engine but tax wasn't that cheap and economy was terrible. NorfolkNWeigh
With people like Barret/Bickle/Glover on here nothing I've ever owned is going to cut it. So I'll go with the only one I've ever owned that I have never seen another RHD example of;Identical colour , roof and wheeltrims to this just in RHD.I bought a seized Commodore saloon and swapped the low back vynil seats for red velour( of course they didn't tilt) I was going to use the alloys too but they were 5 stud and the Rekord only 4. Mrs N ran it for 18 months then my brother crashed it and sold it to a banger racer. Supernaut
I've not owned anything that could hold a candle to any of the hardcore shiters, but this was somewhat obscure if you think about it. Audi A4 1.8T quattro Sport. Bit of a mouthful. It had a sports interior, sports suspension, unique 17" wheels that were only used on the 1.8T quattro Sport, white dials (again only used on this exact model). It had a whopping 180hp to drag its lardy arse around, so it wasn't all that fast, and it was an utter bastard to get parts for. My one was also a mental colour; Java Green. Nobody else on the Audi forums had seen one in that colour. FakeConcern, drum, Laseraligningfoofooflanges and 7 others

Ohdearme
Most obscure for me was a fairly modern Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 Type S about the years ago. 2.5 twin turbo and 280ish boho but nobody had really heard a of a Galant let alone a mouthful like that. Bloody good fun though, don’t have a phot to hand sadly. JeeExEll

carlo
What was it like to drive? I had nothing to compare it to but loved the engine and engine note, had a very comfy ride. It was different even in 1982! Rolled a fair bit in corners and brakes were always lousy.
