sierraman
Fuel filter is a 5 minute job on those. Doubt it’ll be the in tank filter, its a plastic tank, there’s not usually any shit in there. The internal 12v pump burns out but it usually gives you a heads up by blowing the fuse.
mrbenn
Certainly wasn't on the (7 year old/65k miles) car I did. Fuel pipes seemingly welded on to each end of the filter, and rusted clamp bolt.
sierraman
I always sack the clamp off and whack a cable tie round it. mrbenn

mrbenn
You've done well on the prices! Exhaust must have been around £40-50 on its own. MikeR

See if this holds up mrbenn and Split_Pin

The Moog
The leak into sparkplugs is pretty well known. Hopefully fixing that means it be good for a while mrbenn and MikeR
sierraman
The leak into the plugs is the Mk2. Either the washer jets or the core plugs are the usual culprits. The Moog
MikeR
the top part of the washer jet had a angled piece of plastic pipe that popped onto the underside , it was loose and leaking ... replaced with rubber pipe
