Volvo C70 T5 GT Coupe, 240 BHP as standard, 1998, R. Reg, Auto, Low Mileage.

Silver, Black Leather/Alcantara interior. Genuine low mileage of just 115 649 miles.

Electric memory power heated seats (both Driver and Passenger).

Electric Windows, Sunroof, Heated Mirrors, Electric Aerial (that works perfect!).

Ice cold Air-Con, Cruise Control, Traction Control. Upgraded Crystal Headlights.

Factory Alloys plus Space saver (but a 5th matching alloy sourced).

4 matching Avon 225 x 45 x 17 Tyres, with plenty of tread.

Serious factory Sound System! fitted as standard.

15 Stamps in the service book/records. No warning lights on the Dash.

Full Logbook in my name and address. 2 sets of Keys/Fobs.

Mot June 2019. Higher octane fuel always used.

Desirable pre ME7 (throttle cable) therefore, no concerns with the latter problematic

electronic throttle body, used on other Volvos.

Less than 5000 miles travelled, in the last two and a half years, in my ownership.

Used as a weekend, occasional fun car, hence the low mileage.

Classic Insurance, so a fully comp policy costs less than £200 per year.

Volvo produced these hard top coupes for just 5 years, so the value can only really go one way.

A solid, well equipped, fully loaded sports coupe, that cruises effortlessly,

but also has the potential to embarrass well known sports cars/hot hatches!

5 cylinder, turbocharged 2.3 engine, 0-60 in under 7 seconds, top speed 155mph, as standard.

Insured and taxed, so test drives are welcome.

Reluctant sale, no Test Pilots required, priced to sell at just £995. No offers.

Texts are time consuming, so a phone call/chat is the better option. 07936 027216.

Points to consider – At some stage in the past, this has had some bodywork/paint,

which has not been carried out, to a high standard, quality, invisible finish.(The low asking price reflects this).

There is also a small section of rust showing to the lower part of drivers door.

Since the rust has not got any worse in the 2+ years that ive owned this, I haven’t felt the need to get this sorted.

The mechanics were more important to me, than the cosmetics.

The alloy wheels are not mint/refurbed, but they are perfectly fine as they are.

Front passenger tyre needs air top up once a week.

This is not a show car, it does have blemishes/marks, an after all…it is over 20 years old.

Study the photos, make sure you are happy with what is on offer here.

Whilst I prefer a no-nonsense cash sale, I would consider a possible Part-ex/Swap/Trade.

but please, no “basket cases”, I would want the part-ex to be the same standard as my car.

Ideally, another pre 2000 Volvo(estate and Auto)…also, I am looking for an early Nissan K11 Micra.

Since Im a fussy so an so! I doubt a part-ex will happen, but you never know.

Im in Kent, approx. 20 miles from the Dartford Tunnel, near Maidstone.

Thanks for the offer, but Ive never really liked these in a soft top/convertible......But shit, where did you get those funky feckin floor mats?!!! ;-)...Also, if your gonna have one of these, best get the 2.3 T5 engine...puts a smile on the face, every time you hit the laughing pedal.

I would have maybe done a deal with your previous V70 estate though. I do like Volvo wagons.

Im really after a straight sale...I need to put the pennies towards getting my 940 16V wagon back on the road ;-)

I don’t suppose anyone in Kent wants a Xantia delivered to them? That would work. It has issues, but MOT ‘til April and a very strong/fleet engine.

I dont have any boot pics to hand...well, not C70 boot pics...i dont suppose FMBP's will do?...nah, this is a family forum.

I will say, that you can fit 2.5 average height dead bodies in a C70 boot though. ;-)

240 for a train ticket is a bitch for sure. Think long an hard, before you give the train conductor the nod.

Cup holders??...what, on that gold plated feckin train ride!

Or cup holders in my C70 Coupe??...................................sure there are, 2 of the suckers above the handbrake, hidden in the armrest...i never use em myself............i just swig from a H20 bottle!

Try the trainline or splittickets.com it shouldn't be anywhere near that much. I had a quick look & Nottingham to Maidstone is £37.50 on tuesday leaving about 10:45am

My mate had a gold one(not the T5 engine though)...he called it his pimping car...he said all gold cars are pimpmobiles...i kinda agree with him on that score. ;-)

This made me smile...approx 10 years ago, i belonged to a certain forum, at 1st we could use the C word...we used it a lot...then Admin said no more using/typing the C word. They must have then set the forum up, so we couldnt type the C word anymore. To get around this we wrote Kunt, or C'unt (shit like that).

Im new on this forum, so i dont really know the limits of words you can use on here???

Once I get another garage built I am considering one of these. So while the time is not right I'd like to see someone on here bring it to Scotland so when it is next moved on I have the option!

Very nice motor.
