Right, Just downloading some photos i took today at a show and i will update this thread with the photos but for now can anyone name this car?.

I haven't a clue, There wasn't any badges on it at all and all i can find on it on a ebay listings seach is that it's a 1951 model registered in 1980 with a 1600cc engine?.

Someone on flickr has commented that "It looks like the front of a 1950 Studebaker with a Tucker Torpedo center headlight and the body of an A-H 3000!"

I would say its a special or a bitsa-quite common at one point for people to hack together a special using bread & butter mechanicals, that grill is rank. Body looks like a Jag XK120 thats shrunk in the wash.*Edit-just typed this before the others piped up with the Hillman stuff.

Another week, Another show!

This week I've been to Helmingham Hall Festival of Classics and Sports Cars in Suffolk, Really good show, Has a nice straight in front of the house which was used a strip for owners to thrash there cars up, Great fun watching some of the old boys that have never booted there cars before crunch through the gears. :P

As always the rest of the photos are HERE (Only 187 to go through!)

I have a thing for those Vacel Fegas. The other 2 door sports GT I'd happily over polish would be a Gordon Keeble. Looks like a half decent event - I've wondered over to quite a few shows over the years only to be disappointed by an insipid selection. Curiously though, the cars have been getting more interesting and better restored - I wonder what will happen to all those Plastic Padding finished Singers and E93A's when their owners finally die?
