With the Proton away, I think it's time to try and mot this and put it to use and maybe try selling it at a later date.

That's good... It'll give me time to get the Audi away and make some room for it! Keep us posted!

My word that's dull. How do you keep finding such shite?

Like any true Englishman I'm never unintentionally rude. If you're offended by this post, good as that is what was my intention.

How rude   My late grandfather had one, champagne gold it is. He had to wait ages for it and that was the colour he wanted. His was the run out Javlin model.

Audi is sitting untested just now, but has barely turned a wheel since the last one... Was planning to mot it and see what's what. It's got 200k on it but you wouldn't know it. The main thing is it must not be broken up for spares!!! Promised the previous owner it would be looked after, which is why I'm dragging my heels really.

Think I'm going to cut my losses with this and weigh it in if nobody wants it for £200. I really can't be doing with spending any more time on it at the moment and would just like it gone.

Seems a shame... with an MOT I'm sure it would sell... but I know how you feel....

This could be useful to me. How good is the autobox and is the front bumper in good shape (i.e. no bad scuffs or gouges)?

I take it the MOT did not go well?

I really hope someone steps up and takes it on as it really deserves to live on. I know I would buy it if I was UK based.

So close to Tax/MOT exemption. I really quite like these early 80's japanese shunters.. they just seem to work.
