2008 Ford Ka 1.3 'Zetec Climate' model

12 and a bit months MOT (30.01.2020)

98,000 miles (brave bastard whoever did that)

Taxed to get you home M8

Usual rust around petrol filler cap, could be treated before it got worse I suppose.

Some surface rust in other places, but not too bad for one of these and the tester said it was fine underneath.

The brake warning light on the dash mostly stays on (advisory on previous MOT) but I think it's the handbrake sensor thing as when you jiggle it it sometimes goes off.

I managed to cleverly* snap the solid pipe on the back of the driver's washer jet, so when you go to use it, it basically just cleans the engine. Now fixed

I think it's worth maybe a couple of hundred quid more than this, but time will probably prove me wrong.

£600 or £10.50 a number on a roffle?

£500 or £8.50 a ticket?

Chester, Cheshire.

Great deal that, mechanically they are a tough bus. I can remember people harping on about electric window switches failing but I never had any fail on me in probably 5 or 6 kas of varying quality.

I could bore you with excuses why I can't buy it but I won't waste your time.

I know there is plenty of hate for these around, but the engine is quite good and with decent rubber they will outmaneuver most things on the road. Ford clearly designed the cars to be biodegradable, which is a shame, but I think you need to look at it as you are getting 12 months MOT for just £500 or even better £8.50 a ticket, which is amazing. That is pretty decent if you have a genuine need for no frills A to B stuff. GLWTS!

Its a disposable car, cheap as chips to run  for a year, then bridge it for about £100 = £7.50 a week depreciation.

See this frequently at my local Co-op, looks mint apart from just starting to bubble around filler flap.

He text me the other day with links to two other cars. A V reg 106 1.1, and a newer Seat penis enlarger. Also 1.0. I’m teaching him well.

The 106 not so bad, but please tell me you talked him out of the seat cock extension, was it hotpoint white as well?

This KA doesn't look a bad buy at all, nice and simple mechanics and he can learn his way around a mig if he keeps it a couple of years

It was pineapple gold, on coil overs. Talked him out of that straight away. The KA is a possibility but we can’t get to it for another week or so, and weren’t banking on it still being around. If it’s still here end of next week then we will probably be over.
