bigstraight6
I went along to the steam fair at Norton Fitzwarren in Somerset today, and took only a few pics of the more unusual stuff at the show, first up is this 'hilarious' take on the Trotters tripod....4X4 Ford D series....This looks like the model T lookalike that Jon Pertwee as Doctor Who drove, perhaps the micro shitbox caravan is his tardis!....This vehicle is unique, it's a 12 seater bus based on a Morris commercial built in 1951 and worked for its original owners in rural North Cornwall on School runs until 1987! what is there not to like about it? even Mrs BS6 loved it!.... Not quite It's an Austin K8 of the same vintage, probably with a detuned version of the A70 engine. I've never seen one in the flesh either, but I agree with you and Mrs BS6 it would be a very nice one to take home
pogweasel
I don't think it's unique either: Pretty sure one came up for sale recently, jiggered if I can find the link though....
