FS: 1997 Subaru Impreza AWD estate automatic 2.0GL - £350

£6 per ticket re-roffle or £350 cash price.

I won the roffle for this a couple of months ago, and whilst I like it, I need to cut down on my number of cars, which I have been told is excessive.

It's automatic, AWD, has blast furnace heating and winter is coming.

The MOT is getting short, 27/2/19 and nothing has really changed from when I got it.

There's a slight blow from the exhaust and the osr tyre has a slow puncture, I re-inflate it every couple of weeks, it doesn't go down that quickly.

It starts, drives, goes ok and got me 30ish mpg when I checked mpgs.

I find the seats really confy and supportive and like the way it handles, so one has firmly been added to my "want list".

Mileage is 87k (I think, I might have to check)

Location, near Bourne, Lincs

Price £350

For the mat fetish amongst you, it has Subaru Impreza rubber mats in the front and boot liner at the back.

I've received a few PMs which I'll reply to when I get a few mins, but to answer to some of the questions received via PM:

Location (as above) near Bourne, Lincs

Nearest train station Spalding or Grantham

Reg P542 FUJ

All tyres matching budgets with decent tread.

Apart from the slight blow in the exhaust and slow puncture, everything pretty much works as it should, including the adjustable headlights, which I find quite useful.

I'd rather not hold on to it for a few weeks as I want to cancel the tax./insurance and move a couple more cars to my new place.

Well I rang up out of idle curiosity to see if I could get a quote for this to be added to my classic policy.

Asked for the price of the car, and said £1000, only to be told that that was too cheap and they only insure cars over £1500...

New one on me, but just thought I'd mention in case anyone else was trying to get a quote.

Looks lovely though. would defo have a few tickets. But should have done this last time as I could walk to Dy5....

*rings back and says £1500.01*

I'd call back with a valuation of £1500.02, just so I could say tuppence. I fear I'd struggle to include the words bag, pigeons and feed in the conversation, though.

Glwts- these will never be any cheaper, and are another of those cars that will be virtually extinct within a few years.
