sutty2006
First thoughts....... I’d easy trap a nut on that roll cage entering and or exiting that vee-hickle. Ouch. Isaac Hunt
Rocket88
Some re-thinking in that department might be on the cards...............as you can see by the stuff in the background, Steve knows whet he's about..[probably not that welcome amongst some 'shite contributors though.]
Isaac Hunt
Has is got working aircon ? Bet it sounds great, proper vee 8.
Rocket88
A bit lacking in creature comforts, as you can see................soundproofing, different seats, and a heater on the cards............I think a radio might possibly be a waste of time........... Supernaut
Judging by the things in the background, I imagine that's very good at covering a 1/4 mile very quickly. Looks like a proper laugh, anyway!
Rocket88
Something nice was engine raped and an Amazon was ruined. They_all_do_that_sir
Very nice. I'm sure it's rather perky. Quite a lot different at the front end from standard, is all the suspension etc custom? Looks like they've cut away inner wings, wheel wells etc and welded in a partial space frame? Matty
It's an auto and it's got a big engine. Surely it can justifiably be a wafter as well! Rocket88
Rocket88
Yup........front space frame tied into roll cage.......front end is rack and pinion, coil over suspension. Back end is Volvo four link. Front wings are fibreglass, the whole front end can be removed in 10 minutes. They_all_do_that_sir
LightBulbFun
needs Project binky style flip front it would be fun to put all the Volvo interior stuff back in and turn it into a proper waft and sleeper machine The Moog
sutty2006
No need for a radio. Sometimes I switch the radio off in the mercury to appreciate the burble of the V8 chaseracer and LightBulbFun

Rocket88
It's been done properly...........the only really safe [!] way to do this kind of conversion is to space frame the front end............and preferably tie that into a roll cage. Engine [400 cu in Pontiac] is also tucked back as far as practically possible, in this case, pretty much being the front steering /suspension. My old Consul [see above]had pretty much the same set up, but that was 160 bhp.......this is around 300. They_all_do_that_sir
