Good news on the wheeltrims.

Rubbing may be a loose brakeshoe in LHS rear drum? Falls into the spinning drum when you corner right..

I bought some ebay trims for juniors 107 and they also had the stickers loose.

I guess they advertise the trims for every make and just pop the correct stickers in for whichever of their adverts you used.

Look good though at less for the set than Peugeot wanted for 1 genuine one to replace the missing one on our car.

Handbrake is sound though, would expect it to struggle on steep inclines

Mine was clonking like a good 'un on hard cornering, turned out to be the exuast banging around. I stuck some stronger rubber hangers on (spares off the mx5) and its good as new.

Grumble/drone when turning in one direction sounds like a wheel bearing just starting to fail, or might just need tightening if you're lucky.

I’ll need to check it over at some point. Meanwhile it’s just doing what it does. AN CAR.

Seems to be the station beater of choice. Other people own an entire car just to go to the station and back too right?

I could never work out the grumble, wheel bearing was my initial thought, but both rears rotated nicely with no scratchiness and there didn't seem to be any play either.

I had a look at the rear drums and they were all present and correct. It done it the whole time I owned it as far as I can remember and didn't get any worse.

Anyone got any tips for sorting out a leaky back end on one of these? Guess it’s the light seals.

Bit damp in the boot and the windscreen steams up a lot!

The high level brake light can do this, I sealed my blue one up.

The lights are easy to remove, there are also vents under the rear bumper which could let in water.

Anyone fancy this? I am mightily tempted by PBK’s HUNDAAAAYYY.

750 quid I paid for it and it has not awful wheel trims now plus a remote central locking kit waiting to go on

Keep us posted, I've got a hankering for something small and cheap to run as a beater for work. 20mpg is getting tiresome for daily driving :D
